Oregon Firearm Bills in 2013

Requires public universities that commission police officers to allow officers to carry firearms.

Expresses support for United States policy to prevent government of Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons capability.

Provides that minimum sentence for certain felonies is 10 years if defendant threatened use of firearm during commission of felony, 20 years if defendant discharged firearm during commission of felony and 25 years if defendant discharged firearm causing physical injury during commission of felony.

Removes Department of State Police as designated state point of contact for purposes of National Instant Criminal Background Check System.

Provides certain persons with right to possess firearm on college or university grounds.
